‘It’s A (North) Shore Thing’

North Shore

There are many special qualities which appeal to buyers looking in the communities along the North Shore. A couple of our local experts share their point of view.

It is easy to understand why so many people choose to live in Wilmette! My buyers love the close proximity to Chicago, excellent schools, diverse architecture, beaches, and the lively business district, along with Metra, CTA and the Pace Bus. The local Centennial Recreation Complex includes indoor tennis courts, two indoor skating rinks, and four swimming pools.

Beverly and Marshall Fleischman Wilmette has been ranked by Business Week as one of the best places in the United States to raise children. The nice variety of condos, townhomes and single family homes is something we didn’t have when I started selling here in 1980.

Carol HarczakMorton Grove is a great place to live and raise a family for numerous reasons, not the least being that homes are still very affordable. It has award winning schools, great parks and terrific village services. It is a diverse community that’s still growing and is comprised of single family homes, townhomes and condominiums, to appeal to almost everyone. A variety of restaurants and shopping is available throughout the village.

While Morton Grove is close to the airport, expressways, Metra train and Chicago, it still has miles of forest preserves and recreation facilities, including horseback riding, bike trails and the golf course. The village hosts many community events throughout the year to give you that home town feeling. No matter what you are looking for, Morton Grove will surely be an excellent place to buy.
